Nursery Sessions and Lunch Club
Children usually start nursery in the term after their third birthday and are then entitled to 15 hours of free education per week.
Most children attend for 2½ days a week in one of the following classes:
Green Rockets: Monday 9am – 3pm, Tuesday 9am – 3pm, Wednesday 9am – 12noon.
Blue Rockets: Wednesday 12.30pm – 3.30pm, Thursday 9am – 3pm, Friday 9am –3pm
We also have a full-time class. These places are mainly occupied by children eligible for a 30-hour place, or are partly funded by the parents.
Yellow Rockets: Monday – Friday: 9am – 3pm
We also offer places to children in the term after their second birthday. As this is only a small group, places are limited. These places are either fee-paying or are funded through the Free Early Education for Two-year-olds scheme (FEET). Please click here for more information about FEET-funding and other forms of government funding.
Little Stars: Monday - Friday: 9am - 12noon.
|We accept some children for government-funded 30-hour places: Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm. To find out if you are eligible, please click here for the government website, and let us know if you may be eligible when applying for a nursery place here. See below for our Wharf Leaflet about 30-hour places.|
We have our own kitchen on-site and children staying all day are given a cooked lunch. The cost for lunch is currently £2.35 per day.

We also offer Lunch Club to those children who would like lunch on their half-day (Wednesday), depending on availability. There is a charge for this.
